The Australian Catholic social Justice Council Pastoral Letter for St Joseph the Worker Day (1 May) notes that after 15 years of workplace deregulation many Australians feel over-worked and stressed-out.

Australia is among the most overworked nations in the world and since WorkChoices the impact on the most vulnerable is substantial.
