In responding to the Federal Government’s Inquiry into early childhood learning and childcare, the IEU will remind the Productivity Commission that we know from research that the majority of children’s learning happens in the first five years of their life and that a quality early childhood education delivered in high quality services result in better educational and social outcomes later on.
