Re: JAPAN Earthquake – Solidarity Fund – Receipt of Donation
Dear colleagues,
We acknowledge your donation of 5.565,60 EUR to the EI Solidarity Fund and thank you for your generosity to assist the Japanese people whose lives have been affected by the earthquake of 11 March.
The EI Solidarity Fund will assist relief efforts and the Japan Teachers Union to support teachers and students at this difficult time.
EI will continue to monitor the situation during the challenging weeks and months ahead and will remain in regular contact with Japanese colleagues for updated information on the impact of the disaster on teachers and the wider education community.
