The IEU presented a Fringe Event at the 2011 ALP National Conference in Sydney on December 3.
The theme of the event was: Labor’s Proud History: Funding Choice in Education for working families.
The IEU commenced the event with a peaceful march of school representatives to the Conference Centre at Darling Harbour.
