“Comparison of total funding sources made by AEU President Mr Gavrielatos continue to misrepresent facts and obfuscate reality.”

“Accusations of a ‘total abuse of the system’ are quite extraordinary given that the comparisons are made between a government primary school’s student income and a non-government P-12 school, with both primary and secondary students.”

“Every analysis of the MySchool data indicates that student income resources in the secondary school sector are higher than primary schools ” said Independent Education Union of Australia Federal Secretary Chris Watt.

“It is simply wrong and misleading to compare Claremont Primary in Tasmania with a non-government school that has primary and secondary enrolments.”

“Where was there any mention of the fact that Claremont College, a secondary government school, has a per student income of $14988?”
