Renewing Education Policy in Australia

Challenges for the Nation 

School teachers, officers and support staff play a critical role in the development of this nation's children and its future. Yet there are significant unresolved issues confronting schools including school funding, indigenous education and racism. The IEU has developed a paper outlining the challenges facing Australia in the context of current public debate, attacks on workers' rights and the need to renew education policy to ensure the continued development of Australia's rich education history.
