Hands Up for Educatrion

The website will contain articles on the effects of the global economic crisis on the education sector, as well as downloadable resource material such as posters and speaking notes that member organisations may download for their own use. The report of the EI Survey on the Impact of the Crisis on Education will also be available on the site. The site will be updated regularly by EI staff with the latest information and news.

An important interactive feature of the site will be the Google maps. The latest information about how the crisis is affecting education in each country will be indicated on the maps, which will be presented with countries organised globally into geographical regions. A contact form will allow member organisations to contact EI staff with the latest information on the situation in their country, so EI staff can enter the information on the maps.
