Policies

The Independent Education Union contributes to the public debate on a range of education and other issues. It has developed policies and submissions through  committee processes involving members at branch and the federal level.  These are endorsed by Federal Council or Federal Executive.

IEU National Policies

‘The IEU Speaks’ is intended to be a snapshot of the policy and principles on key issues being debated within our community. It is hoped that our members, as well as key stakeholders and the media, will be informed and gain a quick but accurate insight into the policy position the union has taken on these issues.
